Bacterial Dynamics in the Food Chain: From the Farm to the Fork

Participating journal: Discover Bacteria

This Collection aims to explore the roles, behaviours and impact of bacteria throughout the food chain, from the farm to the fork, either cutting-edge research or comprehensive reviews may be considered for publication. Microbial ecology in agriculture, animal husbandry and production, fermentation processes, biofilm development, antimicrobial resistance, technological advancements in food science, and One Health integrative approaches are some of the major themes and issues covered. Researchers from a variety of disciplines, including microbiology, food science, agriculture, veterinary science, and public health, are invited to contribute to this Collection. Through the collaboration of many viewpoints and specialized knowledge, this issue seeks to enhance our comprehension of bacterial dynamics in the food chain and foster the development of innovative solutions to ensure food safety and quality from the farm to the fork. We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions to this exciting Collection.
