    Jimin Wu

    Dr Jimin Wu is the chief of department of gastroesophageal reflux surgery at PLA Rocket Force Characteristic Medical Center. He is the chairman for GERD branch and hiatus hernia group in clinical practical technique branch in CPAM, and the vice chairman for GERD branch in the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He is one of the few surgeons who focus on the diagnosis and treatment of GERD in China. He had also initiated the GERD specialist alliance in China, hold the largest GERD meeting in China each year and lead in two multidisciplinary expert consensus on the management of GERD in China.

    Mónica Rocío Zavala-Solares

    Dr Mónica R. Zavala-Solares is a postgraduate professor at the School of High Studies in Health of Universidad La Salle de México and has a clinical practice in Hospital Angeles Centro Sur, Mexico. She has a clinical and academic interest in Esophageal disorders (manometry, gastroesophageal reflux, motility), neurogastroenterology and oropharyngeal dysphagia. She has written several national and international original papers and reviews, and participated in national consensus of experts.
