Electrochemical surface finishing in miniature: fabrication at micro- and nanoscale

The Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry announces a special issue devoted to: «Electrochemical surface finishing in miniature: fabrication at micro- and nanoscale», planned for Winter 2024/25. Electrochemical techniques and approaches are widely applied to fabrication of various low-dimensional objects, as well as of micro- and nanostructures for optoelectronics, plasmonics, sensorics, semiconductor electronics, metallic nanoelectronics, and molecular electronics. This issue is designed to bridge a gap between existing micro/nanostructuring protocols and electrochemical knowledge able to provide high controllability. This research area inherits traditional surface finishing, presenting its miniaturized version.
