ICH E14 - 20 years of assessing QT prolongation

The ICH E14 guidance on the clinical evaluation of QT interval prolongation in the ECG was adopted in May 2005. This special issue commemorates the 20th anniversary. The topics reflect the breadth of current research activities, spanning preclinical assessments, clinical study conduct, ECG evaluation, data analysis, concentration-QT modeling, health authority assessments, and more. Position papers, reviews, tutorials, methodology, and case studies are welcome contributions. The editor may be contacted for further information.

    Dr. Andreas Krause is Chief Scientific Officer CPP at Simulations Plus, Inc. With 30+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Krause is a well-established researcher in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling. He published more than 100 papers, authored and edited 5 books, and currently serves the community as advisory board member of the Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics as well as Pharmaceutical Statistics. He has been actively involved in the planning and analysis of thorough QT (TQT) studies and concentration-QT modeling for about 10 years.
