World AIDS Day 2013

1st December every year is World AIDS Day, and it is an opportunity not only to raise awareness of the disease, but to highlight the progress made by scientists and clinicians around the world to understand and find ways to cure the disease.

Over 30 years have passed since the discovery of HIV/AIDS, and in that time, there have been strong advancements in our understanding of HIV and AIDS and the development of potential therapeutics.
