His main research interests include the experimental (IR, NMR, EPR, UV-Vis, Raman, fluorescence) and theoretical (Density Functional theory (DFT), Natural Bond Orbital (NBO), and Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules (QTAIM)) analysis of novel and known coumarin and catecholamine derivatives and transition metal (Ru, Pd, Co, Cu, Zn) complexes containing semicarbazone, thiosemicarbazone, hydrazine, and other ligand systems.
