SI - Synthesis and Characterization of Functional Nanoscale Materials – Special Issue dedicated to the occasion of the 60th birthday of Stephan Förster

Participating journal: Colloid and Polymer Science
We are pleased to announce a special issue of Colloid and Polymer Science on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Prof. Dr. Stephan Förster. Stephan Förster made invaluable contributions to various fields, in particular to soft matter and hybrid materials. He combined his passion for well-defined materials synthesis and self-assembly processes with great rigour in characterising such systems in the real and reciprocal space. We want to celebrate his birthday and highlight the footprints that he left in the field of colloids and polymer science. Contributions may include synthetic approaches to nano- and mesostructured materials, self-assembly processes of polymers and colloids, synthesis of dispersed particle systems, and characterisation of mesoscale structures, including imaging, spectroscopic, or scattering techniques. Manuscripts may also address theory, modelling, or simulations that provide a deeper understanding of the observed mesoscale structure. Colloid and Polymer Science accepts article types such as research articles, short communications, reviews and mini-reviews.

Submissions will only be accpeted on an invitation basis.
