Applied Microbiology Mini-Reviews

Mini-reviews are summaries of recent insights or advances in specific research areas within the scope of AMB Express. A key aim of Mini-reviews is to evaluate recent progress in a specific field, put research findings published in the preceding years into context and explain future directions for research as appropriate. Mini-reviews are usually commissioned and are usually based on one or more recently published articles interesting enough to warrant a short commentary.
