This journal seeks papers that address the development of formal or computational models of legal knowledge, reasoning, and decision making. It also includes in-depth studies of innovative artificial intelligence systems that are being used in the legal domain, and gives space to studies addressing the legal, ethical and social implications of the use of artificial intelligence in law. Special Issue Call for Papers: Applications and Evaluation of Large Language Models in the Legal Domain
Although the deadline for submissions to the Special Issue has now passed, you can follow the status of the publication on the collection website for the issue.
Notice to authors: The editors thank all those who submitted to the Special Issue. The issue received more than 50 submissions, much more than was expected. Hence it took significant time to identify sufficient number of reviewers, which has delayed the review process. Reviewing is now going on, and we hope to send out the reviews in the next few weeks. The revision submission deadline will be adjusted accordingly (will be at least one month after the first round reviews are released). The delay in reviewing is regretted.
This special issue aims to curate a set of high-quality papers that focus on the application and impact of Large Language Models in the legal domain, as well as the ethical issues that are potentially involved.
