Membership
National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN) consists of members from a variety of professional backgrounds, including scientist-practitioners, clinicians, and researchers in the field of neuropsychology. Current membership totals over 3,300 active members, with representation by 24 countries. There are four classes of membership: professional, associate, affiliate, and student. Additionally, professional members in good standing can apply for Fellow status. In order to achieve Fellow status, professional members must be in good standing with the organization for a minimum of 5 years, and must be nominated by either another member or themselves. The application process occurs once a year and involves the submission of an application and curriculum vitae.
Professional members must have completed academic coursework in the assessment and remediation of neuropsychological conditions and hold a doctoral degree from an accredited university. While it is expected that the primary...
